Holaaa!! Great Thanksgiving week here in mexico and crazy how its already December! Thanksgiving isn't really a thing here but we still ate pretty good! Also thanks for all the bday wishes everyone love you all big 20 don't feel real!!! Overall it was a great last two weeks.
I've been thinking a lot about my conversion to Jesus Christ recently and all the experiences I've had on my mission and I dont think I can say it enough, Jesus is the Christ. It's through Him all is possible. He is my best friend and has gotten me through all the hard times through out my life even when I haven't realized it and He's definitely been fighting for me since day 1. This month I'm dedicating all I do focusing on sharing this great message of Jesus Christ to the souls that need it and are eagerly searching for the truth. I'm studying about His birth and life, death, and resurrection and I invite you all to do the same!
We've been teaching a lot this week and talked to some awesome people! We put 6 people on date for baptism this week as well! We've been talking with a member named Vanessa who is now the guardian and taking care of two young kids who's parents both died a while back. Super sad story but they are so awesome. We've been meeting with them for a while now and both the kids will be getting baptized here in December! Pedro Rangel has been going to church since the first time I came to this area. We've been meeting with him and he has a baptismal date for the 12th! We have so many people in our area book and several that could progress its just been a struggle trying to get in contact with all of them. I would ask you to keep the people we are teaching in your prayers! A lot of them could use a couple extra prayers!
We had a lesson with Carlos. He is awesome, a little weird but awesome hahaha. He speaks English and Spanish and switches back and forth and it's super confusing lol. But we had a great lesson with him and invited him to be baptized the 8th of January! In the end of the lesson I asked if he would say the prayer and I dont think he's ever prayed before so I explained the steps but he was super scared to do it. I got him to do it eventually but he was super scared and started in Spanish then stopped and started again in English. Let me tell you all, he was having a conversation with his Heavenly Father. He gave the most heart felt prayer I've ever heard in my life. I was in tears the spirit was so strong. Great testimony builder for me of the power of prayer and that we literally have the opportunity to talk with our Heavenly Father cada día!!! Never take that for granted! Love you all have a great week!!!
