La Vida Eterna…

Hello everyone! Hope you are all well! These last 3 weeks were super good and we had a lot of fun! It was a grind and we were just focused alot on our area and we saw a lot of miracles! We also got a new Mish pres and him and his wife are the coolest people ever!! I'm so sad I only have 2 weeks more with them.

We finally have found people that are willing to hear us and that are progressing!!

One of thems name is Claudia! She's awesome. She brought her Book of Mormon to her Misa (catholic church). And basically some people told her to get rid of it and to stop talking with us. She said no and that she feels good when talking with us and that she wants to keep reading it because it talks about christ!! Super cool Experience!

Paty is someone that we found through someone that rejected us haha. They told us someone down the street would be interested and that was Paty! She's an older lady and is so cool and full of so many questions!! We got to the point of teaching the restoration and taught about baptism as well. We told her how people should be baptized and shared Moroni 8 with her. She had some pretty good questions and we definitely had the gift of tongues in that lesson! At the end we invited her to pray (mind She's never prayed with us before) and invited her to ask if what we've shared is true. She prayed and at the end started crying. We asked her how she felt and told us sad because she felt like she was rejecting us and then proceeded to tell us she knew everything we've shared was true.

Areli and Lydia. Crazy little miracle with them! We were walking home and found a girl sitting on the ground crying while reading her Bible. We stopped sat down on the ground with her and started talking. It was a good conversation and we got her to calm down from the situation she was in. We asked if we could give her a blessing and she said yes and that her mom would like one as well! She took us to her house and we gave them both blessing and it was a very spiritual experience!

Monica! She's a new person we found last night that the past missionaries had talked with her. It was a crazy cool lesson and was Def guided by the spirit. We taught about keeping the commandments and loving the Lord. During the lesson we asked her what does sacrifice mean to her and in that moment she said I was just thinking about that and I need to come to church again!! We proceeded talking and at the end we invited her to read Alma 32 and she had randomly flipped to that page before we even invited her to read it!!! So crazy and she was kinda freaked out how many "coincidences" there were hahaha. We also found Paloma, Brenda, and Mary! Such a cool family. We've been meeting with them pretty frequently and Saturday we went to their house and taught them the restoration and they loved it!! We have had a couple difficulties with some of these people that are progressing so I would ask you to keep them in your prayers that they can come to church!!

I saw this scripture in a video and loved it and wanted to share with yall! 66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God." I love these verses so much. Jesus Christ is the only person who brings us eternal life. If you want to better your life, come unto Christ! It's as simple as that. He brings the joy and happiness we search for. I'm so grateful that I have been a missionary, there's a joy here that you can only find as a missionary. Especially these last couple months we have just seen miracles after miracles. I love this work and know my Savior Jesus Christ lives!!

Love you all and hope you have a great week and a happy late 4th of July!

Prepare To Meet God…

Hey hey! Another great week here in Jesus Mary! We had transfers this week and I just started my last transfer... how crazy is that?! This week was full of miracles that's for sure! And we also had a mission wide conference because for my last 4 weeks I will have a new mission president!

Don't got a whole lot of time to write this email so it's gonna be short! Start off with the coolest mircale this week. We were contacting outside walking around and found this dude sitting down. Boy he was not to pleased to see us lol. We talked with him anyways and basically he told us to leave and then started crying and it was super sad. He started talking to us and opened up. He had tried killing himself by overdrinking and had just left his house for the first time after waking up. So we had found him less than 30 minutes after he came out of his house. He came outside to see God's hand and literally in less than 30 minutes we happened to show up! That was such a crazy experience and we were able to talk with him and help him!

We have had to drop some of the people we were teaching that were interested and it was super sad. But it has given us the opportunity to focus more on different people who are progressing! This last transfer has been pretty difficult and we have been on the look for people who are willing to accept our message.

Scripture for the week! "For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors." Alma 34:32. Loved this scripture! The mission has been the best decision I've made in my life and has helped me to understand who my Savior is. I've learned so much out here and have cherished every moment! I know the gospel changes lives and helps all of us to become better people!

Milagros…

Buenos días a todos!! I hope everyone is well! These last two weeks were a lot of fun and filled with so many miracles!!

We had so much success out in Jesús María!! And the miracles all came while we were in exchanges! We did 2 back to back and I stayed in the area both times. The first day I was with Elder Spencer from Arizona! He's in his training and is killing it!! That was the first time he's gone street contacting in his mission! We had a lot of fun and it was crazy. From my last email we had straight rejection the whole time but this exchange with E. Spencer we found 6 new people to teach and aside from that we got 4 numbers and 2 references from people that rejected us! It was a crazy day!!! Then I had an exchange with Elder Gomez! He's one of the assistants and as well we saw a lot of miracles!! We went up to Jesús María again and grinded and visited some of the people that we met the day before and then went and visited the reference the lady gave us. We knocked on her door and Paty answered! She was a little weirded out at first but let us in. We talked with her for a bit and basically she told us maybe she needs to join our church and that it was a sign that we had passed by! Super cool and we are now trying to teach her fam as well!!

An Elder from the Dominican Republic got to our mission and we got to be his comps for a couple days! He lost his suit case and had to wait for them to find it. I forgot how funny their Spanish was hahaha. After hearing mexican Spanish for so long its weird to hear other accents. He was super cool and a lot of fun to be around! We also had leadership council and they announced we are having a mission conference this week!!! I'm super pumped! But I will also be giving my farewell testimony with a couple several other missionaries I will be going home with! That's super weird. President asked me and a couple of the other elders that are leaving to also bare our testimonies in leadership council so we did that and it was super sad but very cool experience! Also teaching a family that's lives like down the street from us! They are from Venezuela!! Super cool fam as well (Pic below) but they are super sweet and she told us she has some family members who are members in the church! We also got to go hut golf balls at some range!!! That was a lot of fun and I sure have missed golf!

That's the run down of my last 2 weeks! I'm loving every second out here. There is nothing better than being a missionary and sharing this great message of Jesucristo! Feel free to reach out to me I'd love to hear from you guys!!! Have a great week!

Have ye spiritually been born of God?

Yooo! I'm going strong! This is like 3 weeks in a row I've sent an email!!! Yall should be proud of me! This week was hard not gonna lie I got humbled pretty good this week by the Lord. Stay tuned if you wanna hear some great stories!

To start off the week.... i live an hour away walking to my area. We haven't had much time before to really go contact due to lessons and other activities we've been doing. But this week we had a lot of time to go out and contact so we ended up walking to Jesús María like 4 times this week to spend all day up there contacting people. It's also just a pueblito(little town) super pretty area but the people are alot more closed off with their beliefs. 3 of the 4 days contacting people we got rejected by everyone, and when I say everyone I literally mean every single person we talked to. And to top it off, I was spit on, a drunk guy was yelling at us to leave, and we almost got eaten alive by like 7 dogs haha but we had some great conversations even thought the people didn't want to hear about the Gosepl and def planted some seeds! So we went home each of those first 3 days with very little success. 4th day came along and literally again straight rejection.

It was rough and I just remember praying for the Lord to put someone in our path that would atleast be willing to trade numbers or just let us share a message with them. We walked down this street and about midway down the street I saw a door and my heart just started pounding and I got super anxious but I felt like I needed to go knock this random door. So before letting Satan keep putting doubt in my head I went for it and so we knocked some lady answered and I said that we are looking for a María, and that in our contacts we have someone named Maria that lives here....(I wasn't sure why I said that cuz I had no idea a María lived there) she says Yes I'm María! We started talking and basically she thought we were catholic missionaries coming to chastise her because she hadn't given back one of there bibles she borrowed lol. But she said that we look super nice and has seen missionaries like us and would love for us to come over!! It was probably one of the coolest experiences I've ever had in my mission. I had no idea what her name was, and what her situation was but it was just so cool and the spirit literally gave me what I needed to say in every moment of that talk. We are gonna stop by her house this week to share a message with them! That's our sweet little miracle we saw from this week!!

Quick scripture of the week!! (A part of getting humbled as well) Alma 5 "14 And now behold, I ask of you, my brethren of the church, have ye spiritually been born of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty change in your hearts?" I think this week was one of the hardest weeks of my mission that I've ever experienced. I reflected alot about who I am and what I'm doing out here and as I did I realized I have changed so much from the person I was before my mission but that doesn't mean I should just stop trying. We all need to keep changing and becoming better! The Lord loves each of us and puts these difficulties in our path so we can grow from them and become who the Lord needs us to be!

Love you all have a great week!! Reach out to me I'd love to hear from you!!!

¿Qué ha hecho nuestro Salvador por Nosotros?

Yo yo! Que tal ¿Cómo están? Hope everyone had a great week! I don't have alot of time to write this but I had another great week out here in Jesús María! This week flew by and it's seriously so crazy to think about how fast the time has gone by! I have about 70 days left until I get back from my mission! It makes me sad and happy. I got alot of mixed emotions about it all lol.

Anyways not trying to get trunky on you guys or anything like that hahaha. This week was great we have been able to grow our relationship with the members alot and have gained more of their trust! We have found a couple new people to teach this week and our other friends have been progressing! We are teaching a family of 3, Mauricio, Patricia, and Ashley! They are a cool little fam and want want get baptized we are just waiting on some things with Patricia's visa so they can get married! She's from Colombia and is super cool! Alot of others are starting to progress and getting closer to baptism so we are super excited for that!

I was thinking a lot this week about what has Jesús Christ done for me? It's funny I was thinking about this cuz I went to read a talk and found a talk that literally is called "what has Jesús christ done for me?" By Elder Oaks. He goes on to talk about 4 important things that he has done. 1. The resurrection 2. The atonement 3. Plan of Salvation and 4. The book of Mormon. I quickly wa t to touch on the first 2. The resurrection helps us view life in a different perspective and viewing our diffects in only a temporary state knowing that we will all resurrect and receivea perfect body. Elder Oaks said "The savior endured incomprehensible suffering to become a sacrifice for the sins of all mortals who WOULD repent" that stuck out to me alot because his atoning sacrifice is available for everyone but we need to be willing to make a change in our lives to repent daily. He willingly experienced ALL of our struggles and trials and offers us the strength to push forward and bare them with an eternal perspective. I invite you all to read this talk and I can truly say God loves each of us and has made this grand plan so that one day we can return to live with Him and our families forever!!

Love you all! I'd love to hear from you guys feel free to reach out!!
