Involve the Lord...

Hey everyone!! Another great week en la obra del señor!! This week was a grind and we seriously saw so many miracles! We had a great zone conference and a couple baptisms in the zone which was sweet! 

Bricia will be getting baptized this Saturday! Please keep her in your prayers. She's 11 and her fam has been a little inactive but has started coming to church again so we are super excited for them! Santiago will be getting baptized in the next week! Iván is so elect!!! (Saw the vision of us) we went over to his house and seriously the most humble family I have ever met. I've never seen people so generous for hardly having anything. Friday we talked with them for about 2 hours about the restoration and they had so many great questions! He took us home in his car and the 3 of us were just squished in their tight talking about how he can get the priesthood and baptize his family and he was just so happy to hear everything we shared with them. It was such a cool experience. He told us he was gonna come to church but couldn't because they were preparing their house becuase their sons novia was about to have a baby. Sooo muchas felicidades for them! We went over to anselios house, this family is so awesome! They made us tacos de colores which were super good! They ended up not coming to church so I would ask to keep them in your prayers pls! We've found a lot of new people we just started teaching that are showing a lot of progress so we will see what happens with them!!

Something I learned these last couple weeks is we should always show gratitude to God. We have seen so many miracles in the last couple weeks and at times I've forgotten to give him thanks. I've been studying humility recently and there was a talk I read that really hit me! Here's a quote I really liked " The Lord will help you more than you can help yourself, so involve the Lord in the process"!! I loved this alot because I can't do the Lord's work with His help right?? Through the grace of Christ he will empower us to change and become better so we should always be willing to pray, to invite the spirit more in our lives and to give him thanks for all of his help. I invite you all to do the same, there are miracles happening everyday in our lives. Give glory to God, humble yourself before him and repent daily! Love you all, have a great week!!!

¡Templo en San Luis Potosí!

Hola hola! Hope everyone had a great conference weekend!!! Mine was sweet, they announced a temple in San Luis Potosí which is in my mission!!!! I'm sure a lot of prayers were answered this week, and I know it's gonna be such a blessing for the people here to have a temple much much closer!

We had a great week of teaching!! Probably the most busy our area has been! We had some awesome lessons this week and some sweet miracles. Probably this week the temple was my favorite miracle but pday we also got a call from some dude named Ivan. He told me he saw a dream and 2 people in white clothing came to him showed him a pic of my and my comp and knew he had to talk to us. He's super prepared, he just has been super busy with work recently but we have a lesson set up this week with him! In the week we went and knocked a door after one of our lessons canceled and this dude with one legs comes out walking with crutches. He told us he's smoking mota(weed) but he's fine with letting us in if we were chill with it. We went in starting talking with him and basically he told us he doesn't believe in God. We talked for a bit then we shared a scripture about the existence of God and after I had the opportunity to testify that he is a child of God and he started crying and was so angry. He opened up to us and said he does believe in God he's just really mad at him and wants justice for something that happened to him. I think he's mad because it's no the answer he wants from God. We are gonna go back and visit him this week as well! We visited anselio and his family in person, it was a great lesson! Funny thing that happened they have this dog and it did not like me. It came over sniffed my leg and I moved my hand and it launched at me and hit straight on where it counts hahahah but didn't bite me. We did the fast with them and then they watched one of the sessions of conference! We saw alot of miracles but this alot so there's a few!!

This week something I liked from the conference is when Christoferson said instead of getting mad at God for the things happening in your life you should get closer to God! Something along those lines. His whole talk was super good and I think will help the guy with one leg that I talked about above find out what he needs to do. I think at times we all feel like him, we want the answer we want when really we should want God's answer. Always always always trust in God and realize he knows what we need!
