Dios sabe lo mejor...

Yooo! Hello everyone I don't have alot of time to write an email but we had transfers last week and I got a new comp! He's lit his name is Elder Galeana, he is from la ciudad de México as well as my last comp! This week has been awesome and already full of alot of miracles. We had Zone council, a couple of party's, and some fun activities in these last 2 weeks. Also ate some AMAZING food this week. Like everyday we were eating like tamales, tacos, or just great food. Still not gaining weight though hahaha.

Teaching this week has been pretty slow because we've been so busy with planning activities, going to ward activities and getting packages delivered. But our people are doing awesome, our friend Pedro Rangel got baptized last week! They are all doing good, and progressing rapidly in the gospel. We have a couple baptisms scheduled for the upcoming weeks so I ask you to keep the people we are teaching in your prayers!

Scripture I read today that I really like is Mormón 9:21 "Behold, I say unto you that whoso believeth in Christ, doubting nothing, whatsoever he shall ask the Father in the name of Christ it shall be granted him; and this promise is unto all, even unto the ends of the earth." All I have to say is the power of prayer is real. As you doubt nothing and trust in the Lord he will always provide. I've seen it time after time in my mission where I want a transfer to be the way I want it, or I want something to happen the way I want it to be but I've learned it doesn't work like that hahah. I know God knows best, trust in Him and everything will fall into place and you will realize what happened was for the best! Trust in the Lord!!!

El poder de la Oracion...

Holaaa!! Great Thanksgiving week here in mexico and crazy how its already December! Thanksgiving isn't really a thing here but we still ate pretty good! Also thanks for all the bday wishes everyone love you all big 20 don't feel real!!! Overall it was a great last two weeks.

I've been thinking a lot about my conversion to Jesus Christ recently and all the experiences I've had on my mission and I dont think I can say it enough, Jesus is the Christ. It's through Him all is possible. He is my best friend and has gotten me through all the hard times through out my life even when I haven't realized it and He's definitely been fighting for me since day 1. This month I'm dedicating all I do focusing on sharing this great message of Jesus Christ to the souls that need it and are eagerly searching for the truth. I'm studying about His birth and life, death, and resurrection and I invite you all to do the same!

We've been teaching a lot this week and talked to some awesome people! We put 6 people on date for baptism this week as well! We've been talking with a member named Vanessa who is now the guardian and taking care of two young kids who's parents both died a while back. Super sad story but they are so awesome. We've been meeting with them for a while now and both the kids will be getting baptized here in December! Pedro Rangel has been going to church since the first time I came to this area. We've been meeting with him and he has a baptismal date for the 12th!  We have so many people in our area book and several that could progress its just been a struggle trying to get in contact with all of them. I would ask you to keep the people we are teaching in your prayers! A lot of them could use a couple extra prayers!

We had a lesson with Carlos. He is awesome, a little weird but awesome hahaha. He speaks English and Spanish and switches back and forth and it's super confusing lol. But we had a great lesson with him and invited him to be baptized the 8th of January! In the end of the lesson I asked if he would say the prayer and I dont think he's ever prayed before so I explained the steps but he was super scared to do it. I got him to do it eventually but he was super scared and started in Spanish then stopped and started again in English. Let me tell you all, he was having a conversation with his Heavenly Father. He gave the most heart felt prayer I've ever heard in my life. I was in tears the spirit was so strong. Great testimony builder for me of the power of prayer and that we literally have the opportunity to talk with our Heavenly Father cada día!!! Never take that for granted! Love you all have a great week!!!
